
UREA
Urea, also known as Nitrogen (N) fertilizer, has a Nitrogen content of 46%. Urea is produced from a chemical reaction between Ammonia (NH3) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2), resulting in solid urea in prill form (size 1-3.35 mm) or granule form (2-4.75 mm). Prill urea is mostly used by food crops and industry sector, while granular urea is more suitable in plantation and industry sector. Non-subsidized ureas, colored in white, are marketed and sold under the trademark Daun Buah, while subsidized urea, colored in pink, are specially marketed under the trademark Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company.
