Kebijakan Sistem Manajemen Produksi (SIMPRO)

PKT is committed to ensuring sustainability and production process efficiency and maintenance, safety, and effectiveness to achieve high productivity with the implementation of the Production Management System (SIMPRO) standard. PKT has a Production Management System policy designed to achieve this and ensure productivity is developed.

Kebijakan Sistem Manajemen aset (SMA)

Considering the needs and hopes of the shareholders and other stakeholders, the management and employees of PKT are committed to applying an Asset Management System aligned to the ISO 55001:2014 standard as one strategy aimed at achieving the best sustainability of the company performance through asset reliability optimization. The policy covers asset acquisition, operation, maintenance, repair, and the handling of used assets.

Quality Policy

To ensure that the customer receives products and services in prime condition, the company has created various policies, including a quality management system aligned with the SNI ISO 9001:2015 standard

In an attempt to achieve the company’s vision to “Become a world-class company that provides innovative and competitive solutions in agribusiness and chemical for a sustainable future,” PKT applied an Integrated Management System (SMT) by integrating all of the management systems that had been consistently embraced.


Environment Management System

Reflecting PKT’s concern for sustainable development, PKT committed to producing environmentally friendly products while remaining alert to the preservation of the environment around the company.

As part of PKT’s concern for sustainable development, it has also established a policy of Environmental and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) application.

Kebijakan Reduse, Reuse, Recycle (3R) Limbah Padat Non B3 PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur

Perusahaan telah menetapkan Kebijakan Pengurangan dan Pemanfaatan Limbah B3 Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) Limbah Padat Non Bahan Berbahaya sebagai landasan penyelenggaraan program untuk menurunkan timbulan limbah padat non B3 Pupuk Kaltim. Isi dari kebijakan ini meliputi penetapan penanggung jawab, penyediaan sumber daya, penetapan rencana dan program, EPR, LCA, serta SDGs.

SNI ISO 14001:2015

PKT applied an environmental management system that satisfies SNI ISO 4001:2015 with the scope of Manufacturing of Ammonia, Urea, NPK, and Sucofindo International Certification Service (SICS).

ISO/PAS 45005:2020

PKT applied an environmental management system that fulfills SNI ISO 45005: 2020 with the scope of Manufacturing of Ammonia, Urea, NPK, and TUV Rheinland.

Kebijakan Industri Hijau PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur

Dalam upaya menjalankan bisnis ramah lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, maka perusahaan berkomitmen untuk menerapkan Kebijakan Industri Hijau sebagai satu kesatuan dari Sistem Manajemen Terintegrasi yang berpedoman pada “Risk Based Thinking”

Sistem Manajemen K3

Sebagai perusahaan manufaktur yang merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Pupuk Kaltim memproduksi dan menjual berbagai produk berbasis bahan baku kimia seperti Amoniak, Urea, Pupuk NPK dengan segmen pasar dalam maupun luar negeri yang tidak terlepas dari potensi bahaya. Dengan demikian, keselamatan dan kesehatan menjadi prioritas utama Pupuk Kaltim. Guna menciptakan tempat kerja yang aman, efisien, dan produktif, Pupuk Kaltim secara khusus merancang dan menetapkan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) pada sebagian besar pekerjaan. Pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) diawali dengan penetapan kebijakan, perencanaan, serta pelaksanaan rencana terkait K3. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi kinerja K3 oleh sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, kemudian hasilnya ditinjau untuk dilakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan kinerja SMK3.

Dalam rangka membudayakan K3 baik bagi karyawan, keluarga, maupun masyarakat sekitar perusahaan dan kota Bontang, Pupuk Kaltim secara rutin melaksanakan program-program sosialisasi dan edukasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), program tersebut direalisasikan dalam agenda lintas alam, sosialisasi K3 di sekolah-sekolah, sosialisasi penanggulangan keadaan darurat ke masyarakat bufferzone, sosialisasi HIV-AIDS bagi karyawan, anak sekolah dan masyarakat bufferzone, lomba fire and rescue (antar karyawan, antar kelurahan, serta antar perusahaan JVC (Joint Venture Company) dan kontraktor), aksi donor darah, lomba video K3, kuis K3 bagi pelajar yang dikemas dalam kegiatan Bulan K3 Nasional Pupuk Kaltim. Selain itu, Pupuk Kaltim melaksanakan tanggap darurat kecelakaan industri baik dalam tingkat internal perusahaan mapun tingkat kota Bontang setiap tahunnya. Hal ini sebagai wujud komitmen perusahaan dalam menerapkan SMK3.

Selain telah tersertifikasi SMK3 berdasarkan PP No 50 Tahun 2012, Pupuk Kaltim juga telah tersertifikasi ISO 45001:2018, hal ini sebagai bukti bahwa perusahaan telah melaksanakan SMK3 sesuai standar nasional maupun internasional. Berbagai penghargaan dalam bidang K3 telah diraih Pupuk Kaltim pada level nasional maupun internasional, antara lain:

Kebijakan Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan HIV/AIDS-Turbekulosis (TB) di Tempat Kerja

This policy was established as a follow-up attempt to fulfill the Decision of the Ministry of Labour and Transmigration Indonesia Number KEP- 68/MEN/IV/2004 regarding the prevention of and countermeasures for HIV/AIDS in the workplace and an attempt to achieve the national target contained in President Regulations Number 59 Year 2017 and Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation Number 67 Year 2016.

Kebijakan Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika, Psikotropika dan Zat Adiktif Lainnya (NAPZA) di Tempat Kerja

As part of the Company’s commitment to preventing and overcoming the adverse effects on work safety, health, security, and productivity due to the abuse and illicit traffic of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and other Additive Substances (NAPZA), it established a Policy for the Prevention and Management of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in the Workplace.

Program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3)

The company always prioritizes Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles in all aspects of its activities. To emphasize the OHS culture in PKT, in addition to the OHS department Work Unit, teams are recruited from all work units, namely the Fire Management Team, P2Ke Team, First Aid Team, Evacuation Team, SAR Team, and Safety Representatives who represent the work unit.

Pembinaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja

In accordance with Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning OHS and the regulations of the Minister of Manpower, P2K3 (Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee) was formed, with 60 members comprising both management and employee representatives. P2K3 holds monthly meetings, which are attended by all members, including representatives from trade unions.

Safety Representatives

To assist with OHS tasks in work units, PKT also nominates Safety Representatives from among the work unit representatives.

Gugus Penanggulangan kebakaran (GUPENKAR)

he company has also formed a Fire Fighting Team (Gupenkar) containing trained personnel who assist the Fire Department work unit in fighting fires. They are recruited from various work units and split into four groups based on ease of coordination, especially for those who work shifts.

Program Bulan K3

Every year, the company holds OHS Month activities according to the Decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration, Kep-372/MEN/XI/2009 concerning Guidelines for Implementing the National Occupational Safety and Health Month 2010–2014. These include firefighting competitions, the installation of OHS posters, OHS cross-country competitions, and OHS seminars on heart health and behavior-based safety.



Latihan Tangap Darurat

The company routinely conducts Emergency Response drills in the factory and surrounding areas. Aside from being a routine obligation for the company and its employees, the training is the responsibility of the company and the community around the factory as a form of media outreach and training on preparing for emergencies.

Program Kesehatan Managed Care

To monitor their health, PKT employees are required to attend Periodic Health Check-ups (CKB) once a year in accordance with Company regulations. The Company also runs a managed care program that includes preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative care.

Sistem Manajemen Energi

PKT senantiasa melakukan continual improvement terhadap kinerja energi dan kinerja sistem management energi dengan tetap memperhatikan kelestarian lingkungan sesuai dengan kebijakan konservasi energi PKT.

Pelaporan Online Manajemen Energi (POME) Pupuk Kaltim

PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur telah tersertifikasi Sistem Manajemen Energi ISO 50001:2018 dengan ruang lingkup Produksi Ammonia dan Urea PKT-1A, PKT-2, PKT-3, PKT-4, dan PKT-5. Dalam memenuhi kepatuhan Peraturan Pemerintah tentang Konservasi Energi, Pupuk Kaltim telah menunjuk manager energi bersertifikat, menyusun program konservasi energi, melaksanakan audit energi secara berkala oleh auditor bersertifikat, melaksanakan hasil audit energi, serta melaksanakan pelaksanaan konservasi energi kepada pemerintah setiap tahun.
